The Process

Understanding your business better

After you make your deposit and sign the contract, you’ll get a welcome email that includes links to a shared Google Drive folder. This folder will be the central hub for all project materials, including any necessary guidance documents. We’ll also schedule a chat – whether by phone, Zoom, or in person if you’re nearby – to review everything and talk about styles, content, and any questions you might have.

Design and Build

Get ready for some excitement! After you provide all your text and images, I’ll dive into designing the homepage for your review. This is a crucial step as it establishes the overall vibe of the entire site. Once we finalize that, I’ll move on to building the rest of the site.

Review and Go LIVE!

Once the site is finished, there will be a chance for two reviews before it goes live… hooray!

What do I need to provide to get started?
After an initial Zoom chat or call, I’ll send over a questionnaire to help you decide on your website needs and requirements.

Once the site requirements have been agreed, the deposit paid and contract signed, you will receive your Welcome email with details on how we will connect and share content throughout the process.

What’s Squarespace?
Squarespace is a marketing-leading SaaS website platform. It’s easier to look after than a WordPress website, for example, all the website security and updates are done via Squarespace itself so you don’t have to worry about this. If you’re a business owner who wants a beautiful and functional website without the hassle of updates to worry about, Squarespace is a great choice.
Do you offer copy writing services?
I personally don’t offer copy writing services, but I know someone that does.

How much does a website cost?
My Squarespace website costs start at £195.

Twelve months after the website launches, there will be an annual charge of £200 or a monthly fee of £17.

Do you do Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?
I do optimise your website with your relevant keywords, which is part of an SEO strategy. For more extensive SEO work, I can refer you to a trusted SEO professional.

Do you offer help and support once the website has gone live?
I’m here to provide assistance and support for your website whenever you need it. If you’re unsure about making specific changes or would prefer me to handle some tasks for you, just let me know, and I’ll be glad to arrange it. My service is billed at a flat rate of £30 per hour. Feel free to reach out for a precise quote.
Do I need to purchase a Squarespace subscription before you begin the design process?
No. Definitely don’t do this, as I can give you 10% off your first year’s subscription.
